1. Her obituary was published in the Saginaw News on 5 July 1983 in Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan, United States. Widow of Harry Beamish passed away at St. Mary's Hospital Sunday evening, July 3, 1983. Aged 79 years. Vera Hoy was born March 15, 1904 in Brant Township and had lived in Saginaw County all her life. She was employed by Saginaw General Hospital at Anderson Hall for about twenty five years retiring in 1969. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. She was married to Mr.Beamish in Hemlock, Oct. 23, 1923. He passed away June 23, 1966. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Roy R. Beamish of Freeland, Neil E. Beamish, Seattle, Washington, Vera Beamish, Saginaw, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Eveline Tithof, Saginaw, Mrs. Ellen Young, Constatine, Mr. Jim Hoy, Midland, a sister-in-law Mrs. Beulah Calkins, Saginaw.
