Margaret Fraser of Touchfraser was the only child of John Fraser of Touchfraser and his wife Mary Bissett.
Her father was the son of Alexander Fraser Lord High Chamberlin of Scotland for King Robert I (Robert the Bruce) and Mary Bruce, younger sister of Robert the Bruce. John's parents died when he was young and he inherited vast land holdings in Aberdeenshire, Scotland including Touch fraser and the Barony of Cowie. John himself died young leaving Margaret as his sole heir.
Margaret married Sir William Keith, 12th Marischal of Scotland, some time before May 1351. She was named as his wife in a charter dated May 3 1351.

The Life Summary of Margaret
When Lady Margaret Fraser was born in 1337, in Touchfraser, Stirlingshire, Scotland, her father, John Fraser of Touch Fraser, was 20 and her mother, Mary, was 20. She married Sir William Keith, 12th Marischal of Scotland, before 3 May 1351, in Scotland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 3 September 1410, at Dunnottar Castle, Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at the age of 73, and was buried at Dunnottar Castle Cemetery.
Her father was the son of Alexander Fraser, Lord High Chamberlin of Scotland for King Robert I (Robert the Bruce) and Mary Bruce, younger sister of Robert the Bruce. Sir William Keith, Great Marischal of Scotland, for encroaching on consecrated ground by building a tower upon the Rock of Dunottar, which had been previously occupied by the parish church.
In 1401 he got from Robert a charter of tailzie of the office of Marischal, barony of Keith, barony of Aden, forest of Kintore, and other lands. Sir William was still alive on 2 May 1407, when he granted a charter of the lands of Aboyne. He died before 1410 having married Margaret, the only child and heiress of John Fraser (and granddaughter of Sir Alexander Fraser, High Chamberlain of Scotland), and Mary, sister of King Robert I. With this lady he obtained large estates, including the forest of Cowie, which was in the Marischal's possession in 1359, Strachan and Fetteresso, and the lands of Aboyne and Strathekin.
By her he left issue:
1. John, who married Jean, youngest daughter of King Robert, by Elizabeth Mure. On 17 January 1373-74
2. Sir Robert, who succeeded.
3. Sir Alexander
4. Muriella, married, in terms of a papal dispensation dated 4 May 1380, as his second wife, to Robert, Duke of Albany, Regent of Scotland, and by him had issue.
5. Janet, married to Philip de Arbuthnott.
6. Margaret, married to Sir James de Lindsay of Crawford. She survived her husband, who died in 1397.
7. Elizabeth, married, first, to Sir Adam Gordon of Huntly; secondly, to Sir Nicholas Erskine of Kinnoull, who died before December 1406 ; and thirdly, to Thomas Somerville of Carnwath.
She succeeded her mother in some of her large estates, including Aboyne. She died about 1436, having had issue.
8. Christian, had dispensation to marry John, son of John Hay of Tullibody, 1 March 1363. Later, before 27 December 1375, she was married to Sir William Lindsay of the Byres.
