The core of this branch of the Martyn family is from Detroit's northern suburbs.  Today there are 4 primary branches of the family.

• Bruce and Donna are "Snowbirds" spending their summers in northern Michigan and their winters in southern Florida.
• Dan still lives in southeast Michigan.
• David, Nancy, Sarah, and Philip live in Chicago's northern Suburbs.
• Scott, Margie, Bryan, Greg, and Meghan live in Cleveland's southern suburbs.
